Hawaii born Tony Scalzo<\/strong> gained fame in the late \u201990s when his American Rock band Fastball<\/strong> climbed the Billboard charts with their catchy song \u201cThe Way<\/strong><\/a>\u201d and the follow-up slow jam \u201cOut Of My Head<\/strong><\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

Tony Scalzo is one of the founding members of Fastball and still records and plays gigs with the band\u2019s other two OGs including Miles Zuniga<\/strong> on guitar and Joey Shuffield<\/strong> on drums.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

\n

Fun(ish) Fact: \u201cThe Way\u201d was inspired by the true story of a Texas couple who were found deceased in their car after driving hundreds of miles from home.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n
