TMZ\/Getty<\/span>\n <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n President Trump<\/strong><\/a> is very much aware of A$AP Rocky\u2019s legal sitch in Sweden \u2014 and he\u2019s got his team working to get him freed \u2026 thanks in part to Kim K<\/strong><\/a> and Kanye West<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n That\u2019s right \u2026 we\u2019ve learned Kim and Kanye lobbied The White House to jump in and get involved in the drama across the pond \u2014 where A$AP\u2019s been behind bars for more than two weeks<\/strong><\/a> now as prosecutors determine if the rapper should be charged with aggravated assault.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Here\u2019s how it went down. We\u2019re told as soon as Kim and Kanye heard about A$AP\u2019s predicament earlier this month \u2026 Kanye urged Kim to get on the horn and talk to Trump\u2019s son-in-law, Jared Kushner<\/strong><\/a> \u2014 with whom Kim is very familiar<\/strong><\/a> from her previous White House work<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Our sources say Kim filled Jared in on what was happening, and Jared then took the info to Trump himself \u2026 whom, we\u2019re told, acknowledged something seemed amiss.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n We\u2019re told Trump told Kushner he believed A$AP was being held unfairly, and wanted to help. As we reported, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo<\/strong> got involved and unleashed a few deputies in an attempt to get some action. A State Dept. member was supposed to arrive in Sweden Thursday. \u00a0We\u2019re told the State Dept. is now actively working to get A$AP out of jail.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n
