If you think you saw Vanessa Hudgens<\/strong><\/a> walking with Elvis Presley<\/strong><\/a> in L.A. Monday afternoon, you\u2019re sorta dead-on \u2026 since her BF is about to step into the king\u2019s blue suede shoes.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

The former Disney star was hand in hand with Austin Butler <\/strong>on the heels of the big Hollywood casting news \u2014 he\u2019s playing Elvis in an upcoming biopic, and beat out heavy hitters like Ansel Elgort<\/strong><\/a>, Miles Teller<\/strong><\/a> and Harry Styles<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

The decision to go with Austin caught some folks by surprise \u2014 fact is, he\u2019s relatively unknown compared to his competition, but looks at these pics and it\u2019s easy to see why he was tapped for the role. Dude\u2019s got the hair and the look working!<\/p>\n<\/section>\n
