Nipsey Hussle<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s baby mama is fighting his family that wants to keep custody of their daughter away from her, saying they\u2019re denying her a basic right \u2014 contact with her flesh and blood.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

Tanisha Foster<\/strong> says in legal docs, obtained by TMZ, she and Nipsey shared responsibility for parenting 10-year-old Emani<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

She seems to be rebutting the family\u2019s contention she\u2019s not capable of caring for the child, saying they are ignoring the fact Nipsey provided for her \u2026 setting her up in an apartment and providing for her livelihood. She\u2019s insinuating she\u2019s been cut off and that\u2019s not what Nipsey would want.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

She also says, she\u2019s not the only person involved in the case with a \u201cproblem past,\u201d but she says she\u2019s choosing not to \u201csling mud.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

She says she can\u2019t pay rent, she\u2019s been cut off financially and is in desperate shape. Foster notes the lifestyle she and Emani were used to before Nipsey\u2019s death<\/strong><\/a> won\u2019t be the same \u2026 but she is willing to make it work to the best of her ability. She\u2019s asking the judge to at least give her visitation rights.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

Foster says, \u201cIf everyone was truly interested in doing what is best for Emani, they would treat me as her mother and not in the manner that they have.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

Nipsey\u2019s family was awarded temporary custody<\/strong><\/a> of Emani, claiming Tanisha is an unfit mother<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n
