Kelly<\/strong><\/a> has been arrested on federal sex trafficking charges \u2026 TMZ has confirmed.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"cb-e043a041e75142d8ddb9581e821bf115\" class=\"canvas-block canvas-block-permalink canvas-text-block canvas-text-block-permalink \" readability=\"39\">\n<p>Kelly was arrested Thursday in Chicago on charges contained in a 13-count indictment returned in the Northern District of Illinois. Joseph Fitzpatrick, spokesperson for The U.S. Attorney\u2019s Office of the Northern District, says the indictment includes charges of child porn and obstruction of justice. \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"cb-44539f1cf3aad952d3212e9c60848cd7\" class=\"canvas-block canvas-block-permalink canvas-text-block canvas-text-block-permalink \" readability=\"35.5909090909\">\n<p>R. Kelly was in court in Chicago in June where he <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2019\/06\/06\/r-kelly-court-hearing-new-charges-sexual-assault-abuse-chicago\/\"><strong>pled not guilty<\/strong><\/a> to 11 felonies related to sexual assault and various abuse in Illinois.
