Cameron helped raise more than $30k for that organization \u2026 one that was close to his heart. \u00a0<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"cb-7e749a300e396c08d46163a3027f4302\" class=\"canvas-block canvas-block-permalink canvas-text-block canvas-text-block-permalink \" readability=\"41\">\n<p>Disney said, \u201cWe are proud to be part of Cameron Boyce\u2019s legacy by showcasing his talents on screen but we are cancelling the red carpet premiere event for \u2018Descendants 3\u2019 scheduled for July 22 and instead, The Walt Disney Company will make a donation to the Thirst Project, a philanthropic organization to which Cameron was deeply committed. He began his Disney career in 2011 on the series \u201cJessie\u201d and also appeared in \u201cJake and the Never Land Pirates\u201d and the Disney XD series \u201cGamer\u2019s Guide to Pretty Much Everything.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"cb-3729c0bf010fdb495146976c8ee411ac\" class=\"canvas-block canvas-block-permalink canvas-text-block canvas-text-block-permalink \" readability=\"35\">\n<p>The company said, with permission from the Boyce family, the Disney Channel will dedicate the telecast of \u201cDescendants 3\u201d in Cameron\u2019s memory.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"cb-100431f58af5d920292e5a765848b4e7\" class=\"canvas-block canvas-block-permalink canvas-youtube-video-block canvas-youtube-video-block-permalink \"\/>\n<section id=\"cb-42c0dd3964fd680c7d8b5228259b1274\" class=\"canvas-block canvas-block-permalink canvas-text-block canvas-text-block-permalink \" readability=\"26.5094339623\">\n<p>As we first reported \u2026 Cameron, who <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2019\/07\/07\/cameron-boyce-dead-at-20\/\"><strong>died in his sleep<\/strong><\/a>, suffered <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2019\/07\/08\/disney-star-cameron-boyce-suffered-from-epilepsy\/\"><strong>from epilepsy<\/strong><\/a>.
