TMZ\/Getty Composite<\/span>\n <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n Salt-N-Pepa<\/strong>\u2018s DJ, Spinderella<\/strong>, is cooking up a remix that probably goes like this \u2014 Whatta Scam, Whatta Scam, Whatta Mighty Good Scam \u2014 cause she says the group\u2019s been screwing her out of millions.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Spin\u2019s filed suit against her groupmates of nearly 35 years \u2026 claiming the screw job started with their \u2018Best of\u2019 album, released in 1999. In the suit, she says she was promised one third of the royalties for the record, and even got a phone call telling her she would be getting $125k \u2026 but she never got it.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n According to the docs, obtained by TMZ, that was just the beginning. Spin says she also got cheated when Salt-N-Pepa excluded her from a VH1 TV show based on the group\u2019s rise to stardom. In the suit, she says she was promised one third of the group\u2019s fee for the show \u2014 and even though she got an occasional guest spot, she got way less than one-third.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Even worse, Spin says she got ZERO compensation for their appearance at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/section>\n\n But, according to the suit, she got the biggest shock this year. Spin says she was informed by SoundExchange \u2014 which collects and distributes royalties to artists \u2014 that her groupmates had been paid more than $600k in royalties over the last decade, but she hadn\u2019t seen a dime of that money.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Spinderella\u2019s suing for trademark infringement \u2014 she says Salt-N-Pepa continue to use her to promote performances \u2014 and fraud and breach of contract.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n
