Getty<\/span>\n <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n DaBaby<\/strong> got some good news, bad news to start his weekend \u2014 he will NOT serve any jail time in his North Carolina gun case \u2026 but there are strings attached.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n According to the Mecklenburg County District Attorney\u2019s Office \u2026 the rapper was convicted Thursday of carrying a concealed gun, a misdemeanor. He was sentenced to 12 months of unsupervised probation and 30 days in jail \u2014 however, the jail sentence is suspended.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/section>\n If DaBaby stays outta datrouble during probation, he\u2019ll dodge jail altogether.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n The case dates back to November \u2026 when the rapper got into a fight with a man inside a Walmart, and the altercation resulted in the other guy getting shot and killed. DaBaby initially claimed he was threatened and was protecting himself and his kids. He never copped to pulling the trigger.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n\n DaBaby was ultimately arrested in connection with the fatal shooting but he was NOT charged with killing the man \u2014 instead, he was charged with misdemeanor carrying a concealed gun.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Question remains \u2026 who shot the man in Walmart? The DA\u2019s office tells TMZ \u2026 investigators are still investigating that aspect of the case. There have been no other arrests or charges in connection with the shooting.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n DaBaby still has his hands full with a lawsuit filed against him this week. Another rapper claims he unleashed his crew in a violent attack<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n
