\"BETJohn Singleton<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s family as a whole isn\u2019t up in arms about his BET Awards tribute \u2014 despite the mother of one of his kids raising hell that it was lacking.<\/p>\n

Singleton\u2019s mom, Shelia Ward<\/strong>, tells TMZ \u2026 Tosha Lewis<\/strong> \u2014 mother of John\u2019s 25-year-old son,\u00a0Maasai<\/strong> \u2014 griping BET did John dirty by spending a lot more time honoring rapper Nipsey Hussle<\/strong><\/a> is strictly her opinion.<\/p>\n

Shelia says Tosha doesn\u2019t speak for the family, and the fam doesn\u2019t share Lewis\u2019 feelings at all.\u00a0<\/p>\n

If you missed it, Tosha blasted the award show Sunday night for taking time to honor Nipsey and not John, saying about Hussle \u2026 \u201cI guess he\u2019s trendy nevermind John was talking and doing the same stuff as Nipsey since the 90s.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

When fans pointed out BET did include a tribute to Singleton \u2014 led by Morris Chestnut<\/strong><\/a> and \u201cSnowfall\u201d star Damson Idris<\/strong> \u2014 Lewis shot back saying it wasn\u2019t enough compared to Nipsey\u2019s.<\/p>\n

Tosha also claims John\u2019s family, unlike Nipsey\u2019s, wasn\u2019t invited to the show, but we\u2019ve learned that\u2019s, at least, partially false. John\u2019s 26-year-old daughter, Justice, did get an invitation.<\/p>\n

Shelia\u2019s bottom line is simple \u2014 if Tosha has beef with BET or Nipsey\u2019s family, that\u2019s totally on her \u2026 leave the Singleton family out of it.<\/p>\n

As we\u2019ve reported, there has been no shortage of feuds within John\u2019s relatives since he\u00a0died in April<\/strong><\/a> \u2026 including a restraining order<\/strong><\/a> filed, a battle over his estate<\/strong><\/a> and the hiring of a private investigator<\/strong><\/a> over suspicions surrounding his death.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
