When you live life as a crafter, every skin-deep becomes a potential project. Every empty bottle, every vacate jar…and every empty-bellied Kleenex( r) material chest provides an opportunity for upcycled goodness. Now, I’ll be honest- there are times when “upcycling” simply be transformed into a quite lamentable finished project…but right now is not that time. Right now, I’m going to show you what is perhaps that coolest upcycled DIY in the history of ever. <\/p>\n

Around these characters, we use our carnival share of Kleenex( r) tissues. Between my allergies and Markus’ toddler sniffles, it’s a good project for us to have a nice stash on hand. To save a few cases dollars and a few expeditions to the store, we stock up at Costco…land of all things bulk and beautiful. And it doesn’t hurt that you can snag a frozen pizza test while you’re there! From April 17, 2019 until May 12, 2019, Costco members will save$ 4<\/a> on Kleenex( r) Ultra Soft, Trusted Care and Soothing Lotion tissues. <\/p>\n

Now since I “ve known you”, I know you love to save some fund and I also know you desire a canny programme. Let’s do both! Grab an empty tissue chest and let’s start making…brace yourself…extreme smart cuteness is ahead.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

STEP ONE: <\/p>\n

Head out to your local Costco and give your Kleenex( r) materials! Or snag them online now .<\/a> Once you’ve worked the contents, it’s time to get crafty! <\/p>\n

STEP TWO: <\/p>\n

Gather your supplies! You’ll need some scrapbook paper, a ruler, a workmanship pierce, scissors, glue … and of course your Kleenex( r) tissue container! <\/p>\n<\/p>\n

STEP THREE: <\/p>\n

Use the ruler and spacecraft bayonet to cut the box in half as shown.<\/p>\n

STEP FOUR: <\/p>\n

Use a marker to retrace a half clique determine onto the bottom half of the box. Then use scissors to cut it out.<\/p>\n

STEP FIVE: <\/p>\n

Now it’s time to cover the bottom half of the box with scrapbook newspaper. When reporting the curved hem, you’ll want to fringe the paper as testify then glue down the strings along the edge of the arch. <\/p>\n

VOILA! You’ve made a perfect notepaper holder for your table !! But wait! We it remains to fix something with that other half of the tissue chest! <\/p>\n

STEP SIX: <\/p>\n

Flatten the top of the tissue casket then cover it with scrapbook article. You’ll want to cover both sides of the flattened box top.<\/p>\n

STEP SEVEN: <\/p>\n

Fold in three flutterings of the box top and glue them together. Leave one fluttering unglued.<\/p>\n

STEP EIGHT: <\/p>\n

Slide a photo into the flaps…<\/p>\n

DONE! You’ve converted the top of your tissue box into an adorable easel-style photo make! <\/p>\n

Together these two projects manufacture the excellent duo for decorating your table at work or at home…and to think it all started with a tour to Costco and a chest of Kleenex( r) materials! <\/p>\n
