\"AndersonSome good news, bad news on the Ric Flair<\/strong><\/a> health front \u2026\u00a0<\/p>\n

The good news is we\u2019re being told he\u2019s in good spirits and confident he\u2019ll be okay after he undergoes surgery following a medical emergency last week. The surgery is expected to take place Monday.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The bad news is Flair is officially pulling out of the May 24 celebrity roast he was supposed to attend in Las Vegas.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Flair was supposed to be the guest of honor at \u201cThe Roast of Ric Flair\u201d at Caesars Palace \u2026 where some huge wrestling stars and comedians were planning on blasting the guy with some friendly fire on the night before AEW\u2019s first pay-per-view event.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

But, a spokesperson for Flair tells us \u2026 unfortunately, Ric won\u2019t be healthy enough<\/strong><\/a> by Friday evening to make the trip from Atlanta to Vegas.\u00a0<\/p>\n

We\u2019re told a bunch of Ric\u2019s famous friends have been calling the WWE legend to check in \u2014 including Offset<\/strong><\/a> \u2014 and Flair has been cracking jokes and being his usual friendly self.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Flair was supposed to undergo surgery on Friday \u2014 but that was postponed<\/strong><\/a>. Now, he could go under the knife as early as Monday afternoon if doctors give the green light.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
