DaBaby<\/strong> bailed on a concert he was supposed to perform at because of an overzealous fan \u2014 who allegedly became confrontational and handsy \u2026 and, thus, got the crap beat of him by the rapper\u2019s crew.<\/p>\n

The North Carolina-bred MC was all set to take the stage Friday night at Centro Nightclub in Lawrence, MA \u2014 where he was headlining.\u00a0 DB never made it in the building \u2019cause his security team and entourage were too busy beating some guy to a pulp outside \u2026 according to Derek Lemire, who was promoting the event for NTS Entertainment.<\/p>\n

We\u2019re told the fan wanted a photo with DaBaby, but got turned down. When the dude persisted by asking again, Lemire says he got swarmed by DB\u2019s posse \u2026 and took a severe beating.<\/p>\n

You can see DaBaby looking on nearby as the dude gets thrashed. He\u2019s wearing his signature \u201cKIRK\u201d chain that he\u2019s always wearing on stage and social media. We\u2019re told the fan was carried away by stretcher and taken to the hospital.<\/p>\n

\"bodyguard\"To make matters worse, Lemire tells us that DaBaby completely flaked on the gig \u2026 bouncing after the altercation and allegedly taking the money he was paid with him. Lemire says NTS shelled out $22k for DaBaby, and he\u2019s working on getting it back.<\/p>\n

A police spokesperson tells us cops responded to the scene early Saturday morning \u2014 but when officers arrived, none of the witnesses would cooperate.\u00a0<\/p>\n

As far as how this went down from the DaBaby\u2019s point of view, we\u2019re told it was a classic case of look-but-don\u2019t-touch. The fan persisted on getting a photo, and when he was repeatedly denied \u2026 the guy allegedly started talking smack and getting handsy with Baby\u2019s security. Our sources say the dude touched the hand of the rapper\u2019s bodyguard \u2026 and then it was on.<\/p>\n

We\u2019re told DaBaby left because of a contract provision that allowed him to bounce if he wasn\u2019t feeling safe. Our sources say DaBaby just felt the venue didn\u2019t have it together.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
