We\u2019re told he threw his Mercedes in reverse and slammed into the car behind him.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"driver\" alt=\"driver\" src=\"https:\/\/etrafficlane.com\/newline\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/1558178626_953_Stevie-J-Backed-His-SUV-into-a-Car-Swears-it039s-Not-His-Fault.jpg\" \/>We\u2019ve obtained pics from the accident, and as you can see \u2026 the other guy\u2019s vehicle sustained major front-end damage, including a bent hood.<\/p>\n<p>The driver says his total damage was around $4,000.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"Faith Evans\" alt=\"Faith Evans\" src=\"https:\/\/etrafficlane.com\/newline\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/1558178626_814_Stevie-J-Backed-His-SUV-into-a-Car-Swears-it039s-Not-His-Fault.jpg\" \/>The motorist claims Stevie admitted he fudged up, flashed a California ID, but said he didn\u2019t have his insurance card on him. We\u2019re told Stevie tried to get his wife, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/person\/faith-evans\/\"><strong>Faith Evans<\/strong><\/a>, to bring him the insurance card, but she was too busy. Instead, Stevie provided his insurance company\u2019s name.<\/p>\n<p>That sounded well and good, but the other driver tells us after he submitted his claim, the insurance company said Stevie wasn\u2019t listed on Faith\u2019s policy \u2026 so it rejected the claim. The man says he tried calling and texting Stevie to get answers, but got crickets.<\/p>\n<p>Stevie did respond to us and insisted the other driver actually plowed into his SUV.<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s no police report, only an incident report from parking lot personnel.
