\"BritneyBritney Spears<\/strong><\/a> may be in the eye of a social media firestorm, but her conservatorship is working 24\/7 and it\u2019s business as usual.<\/p>\n

Sources with knowledge of the conservatorship tell TMZ \u2026 Britney and her dad, conservator Jamie Spears<\/strong><\/a>, talk at least 3 times a day, often at Britney\u2019s behest. There have been reports Britney and Lynne Spears<\/strong><\/a> have squeezed Jamie out of his daughter\u2019s life, but it\u2019s not the case. In fact, we\u2019re told she\u2019s actually calling him \u201cmore than usual.\u201d<\/p>\n

As for how the conservatorship runs \u2026 we\u2019re told it\u2019s the same way it\u2019s run for 11 years. Britney fills her day with massages, acupuncture, facials, hair appointments and caring for her 2 sons.<\/p>\n

She\u2019s free to come and go as she pleases, with certain restrictions. Security follows Britney at all times, but they don\u2019t meddle unless there\u2019s a red flag. For example, we\u2019re told liquor stores are off limits. You\u2019ll recall, Britney had issues with alcohol back in 2008 when she went into a tailspin.<\/p>\n

\"iPhone\"There are other restrictions that Britney doesn\u2019t like<\/strong><\/a>, but they\u2019re in place nonetheless and haven\u2019t changed. Most notably, she really wants an iPhone, but we\u2019re told Jamie has put the kibosh on that because of concerns over social media and people with ulterior motives contacting her. Britney has taken the issue up<\/strong><\/a> with the judge \u2014 as recently as a week ago Friday \u2014 but the judge sided with Jamie.<\/p>\n

Britney and Kevin Federline<\/strong><\/a> still have 50\/50 joint custody of their sons \u2026 the actual time week-to-week has gone back-and-forth for various reasons, but the formal arrangement<\/strong><\/a> hasn\u2019t changed.<\/p>\n

As one source put it, \u201cBritney does what she wants. The conservatorship protects her, but with a few exceptions it doesn\u2019t restrict her in her day-to-day life.\u201d<\/p>\n

And, Britney\u2019s pretty much living by herself. We\u2019re told Lynne left the house Thursday and is flying back to Louisiana today.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
