\"AmericanBritney Spears<\/strong><\/a> isn\u2019t about to just slink away and hide in the wake of news she\u2019s nowhere near ready to perform again.<\/p>\n

Britney went out for a coffee run to Starbucks with her sons Thursday in L.A. and looked happy and upbeat \u2026 smiling and even cracking up laughing at one point.<\/p>\n

\"BritneyThis comes on the heels of a somber evaluation of Spears\u2019 current status by her longtime manager, Larry Rudolph<\/strong><\/a>, who told us she should not be returning<\/strong><\/a> her to Vegas residency \u201c\u2026 not in the near future and possibly never again.\u201d<\/p>\n

Brit already clapped back at this notion \u2014 at least that\u2019s what it seems like \u2014 by sharing a home dance video<\/strong><\/a> in which she flaunts her choreography \u2026 by busting out moves to some Michael Jackson<\/strong><\/a> music.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s unclear if the vid was Britney in current form or a #tbt \u2026 but the implication is Britney\u2019s not about to throw in the towel.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

As we reported, she\u2019s going through some issues<\/strong><\/a> at home ever since being released from a mental health facility<\/strong><\/a> last month. The reality is \u2026 she\u2019s not doing well<\/strong><\/a> at all. Doctors are having trouble<\/strong><\/a> figuring out what meds are the best fit for her, and her parents are at odds over her treatment and conservatorship<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Britney restated in court last week what she\u2019s periodically asked the judge<\/strong><\/a> \u2026 to end the conservatorship. Up to this point, the judges in the case have found reason to continue it. The conservatorship has lasted more than 11 years.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Britney appears to be keeping her chin up \u2026 but multiple sources with direct knowledge tell us things are far from well.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
