R. Kelly<\/span><\/p>\n Accuser Faith Rodgers \u2026<\/span><\/p>\n Testifies Before Federal Grand Jury<\/span><\/p>\n 5\/17\/2019 12:50 AM PDT<\/p>\n EXCLUSIVE<\/span><\/p>\n Sources close to the case tell TMZ \u2026 Faith Rodgers<\/strong> recently testified for a grand jury convened by U.S. Attorneys in the Southern District of New York, and we\u2019re told more witnesses are expected to provide testimony against Kelly soon.\u00a0<\/p>\n No way to know what Faith told the panel \u2014 federal grand jury proceedings are notoriously top secret \u2014 but she\u2019s previously alleged Kelly gave her an STD and sued him last year for false imprisonment and sexual battery<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n Faith was also featured in the Lifetime docuseries \u201cSurviving R. Kelly\u201d \u2026 and afterward she claimed Kelly posted private photos of her and sent a notarized letter threatening to reveal details<\/strong><\/a> of her sex life in retaliation for her talking publicly.<\/p>\n As we\u2019ve reported, there are 2 Kelly probes currently underway in New York \u2014 one by the Eastern District<\/strong><\/a> and another by the Southern District<\/strong><\/a> \u2014 which is in addition to another case the feds are building in Illinois<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n We\u2019re told next week witnesses will testifying for a\u00a0federal grand jury in Illinois<\/strong><\/a>, where Kelly is being investigated for tax evasion, obstruction of justice and sex trafficking.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n We reached out to the U.S. Attorney\u2019s Office, but it declined to comment. Faith\u2019s attorney,\u00a0Gloria Allred<\/strong><\/a>, would not confirm or deny her client testified.\u00a0<\/p>\n Kelly\u2019s crisis manager, Darrell Johnson<\/strong>, says \u2026 \u201cMr. Kelly feels like the devil is working overtime in effort to try to destroy his musical legacy for selfish, personal enrichment. We feel everything will line up right on track when it is all said and done.\u201d<\/p>\n Johnson added, \u201cMr. Kelly is not where he wants to be in life at this present moment. However, every indication shows that he is headed in the direction of a positive outcome. He feels that when you are very focused people try to take you down.
