Fugees<\/strong> rapper Pras<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0wants to set the record straight about the feds claiming he illegally sunk millions into President Obama<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s coffers, or as he\u2019d put it \u2026 check out my new music!!!<\/p>\n

Seriously, it really went down that way when Pras joined us Tuesday on \u201cTMZ Live.\u201d He addressed the indictment head-on \u2026 revealing federal agents nearly raided him during a recording session. But, when we asked point blank if he\u2019d had any financial dealings with Malaysian financer\u00a0Jho Low<\/strong> \u2014 who the feds claim\u00a0funneled\u00a0<\/a>illegal donations<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0through Pras \u2014 things got weird.<\/p>\n

Pras says he plans to respond directly to the federal indictment \u2014 but only on his upcoming EP, which he\u2019s entitled, \u201cElon Musk.\u201d Apparently, it\u2019s dropping next month \u2026 as he mentioned at least half a dozen times.<\/p>\n

\"Businesspeople\"He also copped to making donations to Obama, but says they were fully on the up and up. Just as importantly, Pras would say, he has an EP coming out!!!<\/p>\n

Can\u2019t recall the name of it.<\/p>\n

Pras has been pretty consistent with denying any nefarious activity with Jho Low, whom he acknowledges he\u2019s met, but shoots down any type of relationship.\u00a0<\/p>\n

He told us at LAX a few months back he thought the government was coming after him because he\u2019s black<\/strong><\/a>. Still, Pras says he\u2019ll beat the rap because, unlike many others, he can afford a great attorney.\u00a0<\/p>\n
