Jim Brown<\/span><\/p>\n Praises John Singleton<\/span><\/p>\n \u2018Never Forgot About the Community\u2019 <\/span><\/p>\n 5\/7\/2019 6:56 AM PDT<\/p>\n EXCLUSIVE<\/span><\/p>\n NFL legend Jim Brown<\/strong><\/a> tells TMZ Sports<\/strong> he had tremendous respect for John Singleton<\/strong><\/a> \u2014 not only because he was incredibly talented, but he used his talents to bring communities together.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cOne of a kind,\u201d Brown said on the way out of Singleton\u2019s funeral<\/strong><\/a> in L.A. on Monday \u2026 \u201cLoved his people. No negatives.\u201d<\/p>\n We couldn\u2019t find any evidence that Brown and Singleton ever worked on a project together \u2014 seems the Hall of Famer just admired him for everything he accomplished.\u00a0<\/p>\n In fact, when we brought up Singleton\u2019s resume \u2014 and his most famous film \u201cBoyz n the Hood\u201d \u2014 Brown talked about the impact he had on America.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cThat was a tremendous breakthrough and one of a kind,\u201d Brown said.\u00a0<\/p>\n You can tell from the clip, Brown appreciated everything Singleton accomplished and stood for.\u00a0<\/p>\n Singleton passed away<\/strong><\/a> on April 28 after complications from a stroke<\/strong><\/a>.
