Aretha Franklin<\/span><\/p>\n Estate Wants to Sell Her Home \u2026<\/span><\/p>\n Say a Little Prayer for Us!!!<\/span><\/p>\n 5\/4\/2019 8:39 AM PDT<\/p>\n According to new legal docs, the Queen of Soul\u2019s estate is looking to liquidate her assets and eliminate expenses after her passing \u2026 which means unloading her properties in the Detroit area.<\/p>\n Aretha\u2019s main residence was a condo in the north suburbs, and the estate says it has plans locked down to sell it to someone for $325,000. If the judge signs off on it, the sale can proceed. A court hearing is scheduled for later this month.<\/p>\n As we reported \u2026 when Aretha\u00a0died in August<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0she left behind some debts \u2014 including a massive tax bill<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0\u2014 and her estate has been working to resolve any remaining issues.<\/p>\n According to the new docs \u2026 the estate still has a $100k debt and owes $5.2 million in taxes \u2026 but she had millions invested in property which will help settle the tab.<\/p>\n Selling the condo would be a big step in that direction.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<\/h5>\n
