Singer Peabo Bryson<\/span><\/p>\n Hospitalized After Heart Attack<\/span><\/p>\n 4\/29\/2019 8:06 AM PDT<\/p>\n EXCLUSIVE<\/span><\/p>\n A rep for Peabo tells TMZ \u2026 the Grammy-winning balladeer was at his home in Georgia early Saturday morning when he suffered the mild heart attack. We\u2019re told Peabo\u2019s currently responsive and both his medical team and family are optimistic he\u2019ll make a speedy recovery.<\/p>\n The rep tells us, \u201cAt this time, privacy is requested; however, the thoughts and prayers of friends and fans are welcomed and appreciated.\u201d<\/p>\n [youtube https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=PmvT7B3u7II&w=728&h=410]<\/p>\n Peabo, of course, won two Grammy Awards in 1992, one for his performance of the song \u201cBeauty and the Beast\u201d with Celine Dion<\/strong><\/a> and another in 1993 for \u201cA Whole New World\u201d with Regina Belle<\/strong>. The \u201cAladdin<\/strong>\u201d theme song was so huge back in the day \u2026 it toppled Whitney Houston<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s \u201cI Will Always Love You\u201d from Billboard\u2019s Hot 100 chart in March 1993. Both tracks also took home Oscars for Best Original Song.<\/p>\n It\u2019s currently unclear as to when Peabo will be released from the hospital, but he is in stable condition.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<\/h5>\n
