\"BrendanMichael Madsen<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s recent DUI charge is already costing him a big payday \u2014 even though he hasn\u2019t been convicted, he\u2019s been 86\u2019d from a movie.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Sources close to production on the upcoming flick, \u201cChronicle of a Serial Killer,\u201d tell TMZ \u2026 Michael\u2019s reps were notified Thursday he\u2019s been canned from the cast. That\u2019s no small loss for Madsen, who was supposed to earn $100,000 for gig.\u00a0<\/p>\n

We broke the story \u2026 Michael\u00a0was just charged<\/strong><\/a> with 2 misdemeanors for DUI after smashing his Land Rover<\/strong><\/a> in Malibu last month. Our sources tell us that\u2019s the reason he\u2019s getting booted from the movie.<\/p>\n

Filming begins next month in NYC, and we\u2019re told production is worried Madsen won\u2019t be around to shoot \u2026 because he could be heading to jail. Michael\u2019s a repeat DUI offender, and mandatory sentencing guidelines mean he could get anywhere from 4 to 364 days in county lockup \u2026 if convicted.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s kinda ironic \u2026 Michael was cast to play an NYPD officer in \u2018Serial Killer,\u2019 a psychological thriller\/drama co-starring Tara Reid<\/strong><\/a>, DMX<\/strong><\/a> and Brendan Sexton III<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

A replacement is already in the works. We\u2019re told James Russo<\/strong> just signed on to the cast \u2026 most likely to fill Michael\u2019s role.<\/p>\n
