Mayor Pete Buttigieg<\/span><\/p>\n Celebs Offering Early $upport<\/span><\/p>\n \u2026 Donations Rolling In<\/span><\/p>\n 4\/15\/2019 2:45 PM PDT<\/p>\n We sifted through 2019 Federal Election Commission filings to see which celebs are opening their wallets for Mayor Pete and found contributions are pouring in since he\u00a0officially announced his candidacy<\/strong><\/a> over the weekend.<\/p>\n Jane Lynch<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>\ufeffis leading the way after throwing down $2,700 \u2026 while Mandy Moore <\/b><\/a>and \ufeff<\/em>Bradley<\/strong> Whitford<\/b><\/a> each plunked down $2,000 and Pedro Pascal<\/strong><\/a> tossed in $1,500.<\/p>\n Ryan Reynolds<\/strong><\/a> is also backing Mayor Pete from the jump \u2026 the A-list actor chipped in $250. We haven\u2019t seen Ryan publicly support the South Bend Mayor, but his donation proves he\u2019s at least curious about what he\u2019s selling.\u00a0<\/p>\n Ditto for one of the famous Kennedy clan. We found three separate $250 donations from Caroline Kennedy<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>\u2026\u00a0 daughter of President John F. Kennedy<\/strong><\/a> and Jackie<\/strong> Kennedy Onassis<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The openly gay mayor<\/strong><\/a> is also getting some financial support from the LGBT community \u2026 openly gay comedian Guy Branum<\/strong>\u00a0cut a $500 check and Chaz Bono <\/strong><\/a>made 3 donations totaling $650.<\/p>\n We gotta say \u2026 Pete\u2019s celebrity backing is impressive, considering the crowded field and the fact he\u2019s arguably 2020\u2019s most unlikely candidate.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<\/h5>\n
