Elisabeth Hasselbeck<\/span><\/p>\n \u2018F*** That, I\u2019m Not Taking That!!!\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n Raged at Barbara Walters<\/span><\/p>\n 4\/5\/2019 10:10 AM PDT<\/p>\n Elisabeth Hasselbeck<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0has a much shorter fuse than you probably thought \u2026 but it\u2019s been revealed in this audio of a backstage tirade at Barbara Walters<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0during a taping of \u201cThe View.\u201d<\/p>\n [youtube https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Tp7OPB8VbJQ?&rel=0&w=728&h=410]<\/p>\n The explosive audio was recorded in 2006 after the hosts talked about the so-called morning-after pill \u2014 Elisabeth was incensed and argued against it very passionately on the air. Barbara cut her off and told Elisabeth she needed to discuss things calmly \u201cand not go so crazy that you don\u2019t listen to anybody\u2019s opinion.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n As they went to commercial, Elisabeth was clearly pissed. She stormed off, but was still wearing a mic and then blew up!!! She raged to Joy Behar<\/strong><\/a>, \u201cF**k that! I\u2019m not going to sit there and get reprimanded on the air!\u201d<\/p>\n She went on, \u201cWhat the f**k? I don\u2019t even swear. She has me swearing. This woman is driving me nuts!!\u201d<\/p>\n Variety obtained the audio of the incident \u2026 which is described in a newly released book called, \u201cLadies Who Punch: The Explosive Inside Story of \u2018The View.’\u201d<\/p>\n Elisabeth is already apologizing, saying, \u201cI am quite humanly reactive. I used bad words when frustrated. I was pregnant with Taylor and a big conversation about the value and the lives of the unborn took place at the View. It was a battle -but not of the flesh. I used fighting words because I believe that God decides the value of the lives of babies.\u201d<\/p>\n She added, \u201cI used big battle words (one in particular that I am not proud of and am sorry for using in the heat of trying to defend the lives of the unborn).\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<\/h5>\n
