9:40 AM PT \u2014 Capt. Patrick Foy of CA Dept of Fish & Wildlife tells TMZ they\u2019ve seized a Cotton-top Tamarin monkey from Mally\u2019s home. He says their investigation began 8-9 months ago when they started getting tips about photos of Mally with the monkey.\u00a0<\/strong> \u00a0<\/p>\n

It appears Mally posted a video of the monkey back in January of 2018 when he was hanging out with<\/strong> Rae Sremmurd<\/strong><\/a> rapper<\/strong> Swae Lee<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"las9:10 AM PT <\/strong>\u2014 We\u2019ve learned the raid is part of a double-barreled investigation \u2026 for human trafficking and trafficking of exotic animals.<\/p>\n

Law enforcement tells us LAPD\u2019s Robbery\/Homicide division, in conjunction with CA Fish & Wildlife, served the search warrant.<\/p>\n

\"lawMally\u2019s had several issues with exotic animals in the past. The Health Dept. launched an investigation<\/a><\/strong> when he brought a monkey<\/a><\/strong> to Ace of Diamonds strip club \u2014 and he also gifted a monkey and an ocelot<\/a><\/strong> to Justin Bieber<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

As for the human trafficking \u2026 there were allegations in Nevada he was involved in an escort service.<\/p>\n

LAPD is raiding hip-hop producer\u00a0Mally Mall<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s home in the San Fernando Valley, and cops are going in heavily armed \u2026 TMZ has learned.<\/p>\n

\"RaeA SWAT team surrounded the \u2018Love and Hip Hop\u2019 star\u2019s home early Wednesday morning before moving in to serve a search warrant. Our sources tell us the operation was in progress since before sunrise \u2026 as cops prepped for the raid.<\/p>\n

\"raidingThere are a ton of officers out there. More than 8 patrol cars, and at least one armored van are lining the block. It\u2019s unclear why cops are raiding Mally\u2019s place. We\u2019ve confirmed he is home though.<\/p>\n

Mally\u2019s been through this at least once before. Back in 2014, the FBI raided his Las Vegas home<\/strong><\/a> as part of a federal human trafficking investigation.<\/p>\n
