Derek Jeter<\/strong><\/a> could go from baseball star \u2026 to movie star \u2026 because a VERY famous director says the \u201csh*tshow\u201d Jeter\u2019s created with the Miami Marlins would make for a great Hollywood flick!!!<\/p>\n

We got Billy Corben<\/strong><\/a> (the guy behind the 2006 hit \u201cCocaine Cowboys\u201d) in New York promoting his new documentary, \u201cScrewball\u201d \u2014 which is all about Alex Rodriguez<\/strong><\/a> and the Biogenesis steroid scandal.\u00a0<\/p>\n

And, since his new flick is getting solid reviews on Rotten Tomatoes from top critics \u2026 we asked Corben if there are any OTHER sports stories he\u2019d consider turning into a movie.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cHow about a story about Jeter and the Marlins,\u201d Corben said \u2026 \u201cTalk about a Miami sh*tshow!\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

He\u2019s right \u2026 the Marlins have been a DISASTER \u2014 and even though Jeter\u2019s only been CEO for a year<\/strong><\/a>, things in Miami are lookin\u2019 grim.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In 2018, the Marlins placed dead last in MLB for attendance and most experts are predicting the team to be terrible on the field \u2026 since they really have no stars.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Corben says the situation with the Marlins is the stuff great movies are made of \u2014 so it could just be a matter of time before Jeter follows A-Rod to the big screen.\u00a0<\/p>\n

As for \u201cScrewball,\u201d Corben says he thinks Alex will actually enjoy the flick because he thinks the guy has a sense of humor about the situation.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Oh, and if you\u2019re wondering why Corben used children to play the main characters in the story \u2026 his explanation is pretty funny too.\u00a0<\/p>\n
