Add Johnny 3 Tears<\/strong> \u2014 singer and bassist of Hollywood Undead \u2014 to the list of musicians relieved their old songs have been wiped from Myspace \u2026 but he feels bad for other artists \u2026 and Tom<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The rocker tells TMZ \u2026 the old social media network\u2019s massive screwup \u2014 it deleted roughly 53 MILLION music files uploaded from 2003-15 \u2014 was actually a good thing for his band, but it sucks for artists who lost songs important to them.<\/p>\n

Johnny also has his doubts the Myspace blunder was completely on accident, and echoes a tech blogger\u2019s theory it was a cost-saving measure.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m deeply skeptical this was an accident. Flagrant incompetence may be bad PR, but it still sounds better than \u201cwe can\u2019t be bothered with the effort and cost of migrating and hosting 50 million old MP3s.\u201d<\/p>\n

As we told you, another rock star \u2014\u00a0Mike Hranica<\/strong> from The Devil Wears Prada \u2014 is pretty much in the same boat as Johnny in regards to Myspace \u2026 but doesn\u2019t have the same sympathy<\/a><\/strong> for those who lost their material.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
