Kelly<\/span><\/p>\n I Didn\u2019t Torpedo Azriel\u2019s Family Meeting \u2026<\/span><\/p>\n She Called the Shots<\/span><\/p>\n 3\/25\/2019 1:00 AM PDT<\/p>\n EXCLUSIVE<\/span><\/p>\n Clary was supposed to meet with her family \u2014 for the first time in years \u2014 Saturday night in Chicago. R. Kelly\u2019s attorney, Steve Greenberg<\/strong>, tells TMZ the plans fell through after Azriel insisted on changing the location last minute. We\u2019re told she wanted the meeting with her family to take place at R. Kelly\u2019s apartment at Trump Tower in Chicago, as opposed to a previously decided spot.<\/p>\n It\u2019s unclear where that previous location would\u2019ve been, but it\u2019s moot now \u2026 \u2019cause her family canceled the whole thing when they heard about the change.\u00a0<\/p>\n It\u2019s been reported that R. Kelly was the one who pushed for the change \u2014 supposedly wanting his security there too \u2014 but Greenberg says that\u2019s false. He tells us that Azriel is the one who suggested Trump Tower as a means to control an anticipated frenzy.<\/p>\n Greenberg says Azriel believed her family would turn the meetup into a media circus, and she wanted say over who could get into the building by having it at R. Kelly\u2019s place, where she lives with him. When her family got word on that, they pulled the plug entirely.<\/p>\n Michael Avenatti<\/strong><\/a> \u2014 who reps Azriel\u2019s family in this matter \u2014 tells TMZ \u2026 \u201cOn Friday, R Kelly\u2019s camp tried to abruptly change the terms of the meeting at which time my clients and I decided not to participate because the terms were not acceptable. We are now attempting to reschedule the meeting on agreeable terms so my clients can see their daughter.\u201d<\/p>\n You\u2019ll recall \u2026 Joycelyn Savage<\/strong>\u2018s family meetup also got canceled<\/strong><\/a> for the same thing \u2014 supposedly, she too insisted it take place in Chicago.
