\"Beverly<\/strong>The outpouring love for\u00a0Luke Perry<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0proves he\u2019s\u00a0a strong candidate to get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame \u2014 and yet, it\u2019s gonna take at least 5 years before he can be immortalized.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce tells TMZ \u2026 they would be very happy to consider Luke for a star on the Walk of Fame, but because it didn\u2019t happen before his death \u2026 the process is a bit more complicated.<\/p>\n

Typically, a celeb can be nominated by anyone, but the application must include a written statement from the celeb that he or she wants the star and will attend the ceremony if approved.<\/p>\n

In the case of a deceased celeb \u2026 the family has to give its permission for the process to move forward \u2014 only one deceased nominee is approved each year.\u00a0<\/p>\n

We broke the story \u2014 Luke died March 4<\/strong><\/a> after suffering a massive stroke<\/strong><\/a> \u2014 which means March 4, 2024 is the earliest he can be considered. Mark your calendars, \u2019cause it\u2019s gonna happen.<\/p>\n

Luke\u2019s nomination is a slam dunk \u2026 he enjoyed a prolific acting career<\/strong><\/a> on TV and in movies \u2014 rising to fame on \u201cBeverly Hills, 90210\u201d and most recently starring as Archie\u2019s dad on CW\u2019s hit show, \u201cRiverdale.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

He also filmed a part in Quentin Tarantino<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s upcoming Charles Manson<\/strong><\/a> movie, \u201cOnce Upon a Time in Hollywood,\u201d and had prominent roles on TV shows like \u201cOz,\u201d \u201cAnother World,\u201d \u201cJohn From Cincinnati,\u201d \u201cJeremiah,\u201d \u201cBody of Proof,\u201d and \u201cWindfall.\u201d<\/p>\n
