\"Auction<\/a>What\u00a0Michael Jackson<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>couldn\u2019t get from\u00a0Joe Jackson<\/strong><\/a>, he got from one of his bodyguards instead \u2026 according to a letter written by the King of Pop.<\/p>\n

Michael\u2019s handwritten note, from around 1992, was addressed to his personal security guard, Bill Bray\u00a0<\/strong>\u2026 and filled with references to his traumatic childhood. For instance, he wrote \u2026 \u201cJoseph never ever had time for me, he only saw me as a way for him to make money.\u201d<\/p>\n

The point Jackson wanted to make was that Bill had been the father figure he never had.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

\"Bill<\/p>\n

RR Auction<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0is putting the letter up on the block Thursday, and we\u2019re told it\u2019s expected to fetch more than $18,000!!!<\/p>\n

It\u2019ll be interesting to see if the letter\u2019s value is affected by the\u00a0renewed controversy<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0generated by the \u201cLeaving Neverland\u201d documentary.<\/p>\n

In the letter, Michael tells Bill he loves him and admits, \u201cI don\u2019t know what would have happened to me if you were not around.\u201d He straight-up thanks his bodyguard for \u201cbeing a father\u201d to him.<\/p>\n

According to RR, Bill started working security for the Jackson 5<\/strong> in the 1970s \u2026 and kept working with Michael \u2014 as a bodyguard and close confidant \u2014 until retiring in the mid-1990s.\u00a0<\/p>\n
