Beverley was surrounded by friends and family at her home in Vermont. We\u2019re told Beverley was diagnosed in January 2017 and had kept it private.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"As the World Turns\" alt=\"As the World Turns\" src=\"https:\/\/etrafficlane.com\/newline\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/1551126168_22_Beverley-Owen-Original-Marilyn-from-039The-Munsters039-Dead-at-81.jpg\" \/>Fellow cast member\u00a0<strong>Butch Patrick<\/strong>, who played little Eddie Munster on the show, shared the news on Facebook. He said, \u201cBeautiful Beverley Owen has left us. What a sweet soul. I had the biggest crush on her. They were married for nearly a decade and have two daughters. <strong>Pat Priest<\/strong> took over for Beverley and starred as Marilyn for the remainder of the series.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Beverley\u2019s first TV gig was in \u201cAs the World Turns\u201d back in 1956. She then appeared on other shows, including \u201cThe Doctors,\u201d \u201cKraft Mystery Theater,\u201d \u201cWagon Train,\u201d \u201cThe Virginian,\u201d \u201cAnother World\u201d and \u201cBullet for a Badman\u201d before earning stardom on \u201cThe Munsters.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She was 81.
