Jamie Foxx<\/strong><\/a> couldn\u2019t be happier for Spike Lee<\/strong><\/a> after he won his first Oscar ever, because he thinks the honor was long overdue \u2026 and couldn\u2019t have gone to someone more worthy.<\/p>\n

Jamie shared his thoughts with us Sunday after the show at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel, and he told us Spike walking up to accept his first Academy Award for \u201cBlacKkKlansman\u201d was one of the best moments of the night. You can see he\u2019s truly overjoyed for his pal.<\/p>\n

As an Oscar winner himself, Jamie tells us that hard work \u2014 which Spike has undoubtedly cranked out for years now \u2014 sometimes gets lost in the shuffle \u2026 for a number of reasons, controversies and otherwise.<\/p>\n

But, he says the Academy got it right this year, and the fact Samuel L. Jackson<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0was the one to read his name<\/strong><\/a> made the moment even sweeter.<\/p>\n

Jamie goes on to make a point about big-time Hollywood players who\u2019ve been in the game for a long time, like himself and Spike. He says they came a long way for the success they\u2019ve gained \u2026 and he\u2019s just ecstatic that Spike finally got his.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Be nice if Spike Lee could read his notes, or better yet not have to use notes at all, when doing his racist hit on your President, who has done more for African Americans (Criminal Justice Reform, Lowest Unemployment numbers in History, Tax Cuts,etc.) than almost any other Pres!<\/p>\n

Of course, there\u2019s at least one person who wasn\u2019t happy for Spike \u2026 President Trump<\/strong><\/a>. Spike turned his acceptance speech political when he told voters to \u201cdo the right thing\u201d in 2020.<\/p>\n

Yeah, DT didn\u2019t take too kindly to that.\u00a0<\/p>\n
