Vinny loved life from his family to his friends and fans he was easily one of the funniest, endearing actors to have ever graced the screen.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Vinny\u2019s son, <strong>Vinny Vella Jr.<\/strong>, tells us his father had liver cancer.<\/p>\n<p>Vinny, who has 74 acting credits to his name, memorably played deli owner\/mobster Artie Piscano alongside <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/person\/robert-de-niro\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Robert De Niro<\/strong><\/a> in \u201cCasino.\u201d He also acted with De Niro in \u201cAnalyze That.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He had smaller roles in other films like \u201cDonnie Brasco,\u201d \u201cKissing Jessica Stein,\u201d \u201cKill the Irishman,\u201d \u201cMambo Cafe,\u201d \u201cThis Thing of Ours\u201d and \u201cFind Me Guilty.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>[youtube https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=DzC-ajqynG4?&amp;rel=0&#038;w=728&#038;h=410]<\/p>\n<p>Vinny\u2019s rep added, he was \u201cArguably the fastest on the draw, king of the comebacks. His verbal jousting was legendary but many know Vinny for his favorite saying \u2013 \u2018Who\u2019s better than you?\u2019 Well Vinny, I think we all can agree on the answer to that, it was you, it always was you! We miss you my boy!\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"Donnie Brasco\" alt=\"Donnie Brasco\" src=\"https:\/\/etrafficlane.com\/newline\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/1550760757_531_039Casino039-Actor-Vinny-Vella-Dead-at-72-from-Liver-Cancer.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>His son also commented, saying \u2026 \u201cRIP to my father. I love you so much and I\u2019m so heart broken. You are no longer in pain- no more suffering pops. I love you.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He\u2019s survived by his son and his wife, Margaret.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Vinny was 72.
