\"ArianaAriana Grande<\/strong><\/a> was quick to tweet and delete \u201cTrash\u201d after Mac Miller<\/strong><\/a> lost the Grammy for Rap Album of the Year \u2026 what she felt was a sign of total disrespect from the award show to the late rapper and his family.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Miller \u2014 who died in September<\/strong><\/a> \u2014 received the first nomination of his career for Sunday\u2019s show for his album \u201cSwimming.\u201d Mac was up against Travis Scott<\/a><\/strong>, Nipsey Hussle<\/a><\/strong>, Pusha T <\/strong><\/a>and Cardi<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Grande tweeted \u201cTrash\u201d after Cardi was announced the winner<\/strong><\/a> but clarified the shade wasn\u2019t at Cardi, saying, \u201cNothing to do w her. good for her. i promise. i\u2019m sorry.\u201d<\/p>\n

A source close to Ariana tells us she was upset because the Grammys flew Mac\u2019s parents<\/strong><\/a> out for the show \u2014 a sign he was likely going to win \u2014 and felt they disrespected him by giving it to someone else.<\/p>\n

As we reported \u2026 Ariana was supposed to perform at the show but later canceled the gig<\/strong><\/a> after a feud with Grammy honchos. She wanted was to perform \u201c7 rings.\u201d<\/p>\n

We\u2019re told the show\u2019s producer,\u00a0Ken Ehrlich<\/strong>, told Ariana that song wouldn\u2019t connect with the audience, so he asked her to choose a different song. Ariana felt strongly \u201c7 Rings\u201d was what people wanted to hear, and when Ehrlich wouldn\u2019t budge, she said she\u2019d take a pass.<\/p>\n
