Part of the reason we had such huge profits was because we invested in \u201cugly\u201d looking properties in good neighborhoods and transformed them into beautiful properties \u2013 AND we transformed the properties ourselves! We DIY\u2019d construction\/renovation\/home remodeling on three of our properties AND saved huge because we didn\u2019t have contractor costs.
