\"GangstaMystikal<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0is THIS close to getting the money he needs to post bail\u00a0and get out of prison while he waits for his rape case trial to begin \u2026 thanks to friends and a record deal.<\/p>\n

You may recall the rapper was booked in 2017 for first-degree rape and second-degree kidnapping after he\u00a0turned himself<\/strong><\/a> in following a Louisiana woman who came forward.<\/p>\n

\"Getting<\/p>\n

He\u2019s been behind bars ever since (almost a year and a half), but people around him have recently rallied and he could be set free soon, pending his trial in May.<\/p>\n

Mystikal\u2019s attorney,\u00a0Joel Pearce<\/strong>, tells TMZ \u2026 his client\u2019s friends and family have been raising money to help post the $3 million bail. But, what really helped is a new music deal.<\/p>\n

Tim Yazbeck<\/strong>, another attorney for the rapper, tells TMZ \u2026 Mystikal has a new record deal for 3 unreleased albums and he\u2019s hoping to get an advance within days.<\/p>\n

Mystikal\u2019s legal team tells us they\u2019re confident he\u2019ll be out on bail by the end of next week.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
