Yaowarat is not a big or long avenue at all. You can walk through it in about 15 minutes, barring foot traffic of course. The streets are lined with jewelry stores selling gold, old Chinese medicine shops and restaurants selling exotic foods like shark fin and bird&#8217;s nest soup. Then you have the street hawkers and side street shops.
