David and Victoria Beckham’s Anniversary Posts Stir Brooklyn Rift Once more After Studies He Requested Them To Cease Tagging Him

David and Victoria Beckham marked 27 years of marriage with romantic Instagram tributes, but the family wording in their posts quickly brought Brooklyn Beckham’s estrangement back into the coverage.

People said David celebrated the July 4 anniversary with a carousel of throwback photos and a caption thanking Victoria for giving him “everything” he could wish for. He added that their “proudest achievement will always be our family.”

Victoria shared her own post, writing, “After 27 years of marriage, four amazing children and countless matching outfits, you’re still my everything.” The couple share Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper.

The posts did not single out Brooklyn, but they arrived after weeks of reports about his strained relationship with his parents and his alleged frustration over being included in family posts.

David Beckham Called Their Family His Proudest Achievement

David’s anniversary post looked back across his relationship with Victoria, from early photos together to more recent couple images. People said he wrote, “29 years together, 27 years married & you have given me everything I could ever wish for,” then added, “Our proudest achievement will always be our family.”

Victoria replied in the comments, “Happy anniversary ❤️❤️ I love you so much ❤️.”

Victoria Beckham Shared Her Own Anniversary Tribute

Victoria posted a photo of herself kissing David on the cheek while the couple stood on a staircase in formalwear. Her caption celebrated “27 years of marriage, four amazing children and countless matching outfits.”

People said Victoria also shared throwback photos on Instagram Stories, including a late-1990s image captioned “Where we began.”

David and Victoria married on July 4, 1999, at Luttrellstown Castle in Dublin, Ireland. People said they exchanged vows in front of 29 guests, followed by a larger reception with about 230 people.

Brooklyn Reportedly Objected to Earlier Family Posts

The anniversary posts followed earlier reporting about Brooklyn’s reaction to Father’s Day tributes from his parents. The Sun said in June that Brooklyn was “furious” after David and Victoria shared Father’s Day posts that included him.

The outlet said Brooklyn had previously asked not to be tagged in social media posts. The same report said he “just wants to be left alone,” citing a source close to the situation.

Another Sun report on the anniversary said Brooklyn had sent his parents a legal notice warning that they should contact him only through lawyers and should not tag him online. The Indian Express previously reported similar claims in January, citing The Sun’s reporting.

The Rift Has Been Public for Months

People reported in March that David and Victoria publicly wished Brooklyn a happy 27th birthday after he accused his parents in January of trying to sabotage his relationship with Nicola Peltz Beckham.

David posted throwback photos with Brooklyn and wrote, “We love you x,” while Victoria shared her own birthday message saying, “Happy birthday Brooklyn, we love you so much.”

The Sun’s anniversary report said the family dispute had continued through David’s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony, Father’s Day and a later World Cup ad involving Brooklyn. The outlet also said Harper Beckham’s attempt to deliver a letter to Brooklyn and Nicola’s Los Angeles home had become another disputed moment between the two sides.
