Tracy Tutor Is Becoming a member of ‘RHOBH’ Season 16 After Years of Saying She Might ‘Carry a Little Warmth’

Tracy Tutor is officially trading luxury listings for another corner of the Bravo universe.

The longtime Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles star is joining The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for Season 16, confirming a move fans have speculated about for years. Tutor announced the news on Aug. 19 and said Beverly Hills already feels like home because she raised her daughters and built her career there.

The 51-year-old real estate broker also made it clear that she is not expecting an entirely quiet transition. She described herself as excited and slightly nervous about the new chapter before predicting that she is “likely to get into some trouble,” according to PEOPLE’s report on her announcement.

Tutor will hardly be entering unfamiliar territory. She has spent years on Bravo, already knows people throughout Beverly Hills’ real estate and social circles, and has a very public history with at least one prominent RHOBH personality.

Tutor Has Wanted a Shot at RHOBH for Years

The move has been years in the making. During a January 2023 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Tutor was asked whether she would consider joining RHOBH. “One hundred percent,” she replied.

Tutor explained that she was born and raised in Los Angeles and already knew several women associated with the franchise. “I know a lot of the women on the show, and I love them all … not equally,” she joked. “I think I could bring a little heat.”

Bravo’s official Season 16 announcement revisited those comments after confirming that Tutor is finally making the jump. Even Andy Cohen acknowledged how long the crossover had been discussed. Commenting on Tutor’s Aug. 19 announcement, the Real Housewives executive producer wrote, “This has been a long time coming!”

She Already Has Connections Inside the Beverly Hills Circle

Bravo notes that she is friends with Mauricio Umansky, Kyle Richards’ estranged husband, through their work in luxury real estate. Tutor has previously spoken positively about his family and even offered him fashion advice publicly.

Her connections extend beyond Umansky. Tutor has said she knows Kyle, was close with former Housewife Crystal Kung Minkoff and knows former cast member Garcelle Beauvais, whom she has described warmly.

That makes her arrival different from introducing someone who has to build every relationship from scratch. Tutor enters with existing friendships, professional connections and opinions already in place along with one conflict that could become considerably more relevant now.

Her History With Dorit Kemsley Could Become Important

The most obvious unresolved relationship is with Dorit Kemsley. Tutor publicly criticized Kemsley in 2025 while discussing beauty professionals they had both worked with. She alleged that Kemsley “doesn’t pay her bills” and claimed money had been owed to multiple people, including a hairstylist they shared.

Kemsley strongly disputed Tutor’s characterization. During a March 2025 appearance on Watch What Happens Live, she called the claims “hysterical” and “attention seeking.” Kemsley also offered a specific explanation involving hairstylist Chris Dylan. She said an invoice had included charges her office believed had already been paid, prompting the bill to be flagged and corrected rather than simply left unpaid.

The back-and-forth became public enough that Tutor was soon asked whether joining RHOBH might appeal to her. “You know, I’ve been asked that a lot,” Tutor said during a March 2025 appearance on Jeff Lewis Live. “I mean, I would like to come for a few people on that show.” Bravo documented the exchange at the time. The network has not said whether the previous disagreement with Kemsley will become a Season 16 storyline.

Million Dollar Listing Made Tutor a Bravo Veteran

Tutor joined Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles in Season 10 in 2017, becoming the show’s first female real estate broker. She remained on the series through Season 15, which wrapped in September 2024.

Viewers followed major luxury listings, her expansion into the Texas market, her divorce from Jason Maltas and later relationships. Tutor shares daughters Juliet and Scarlett with Maltas.

Her real estate career has also continued beyond the show. Bravo credits Tutor with 24 years of luxury real estate experience and notes that she is licensed in both California and Texas. She is also the author of the 2020 book Fear Is Just a Four-Letter Word.

One of her largest deals featured on MDLLA involved representing the West Hollywood Edition residences, which Bravo says sold out for nearly $200 million in 2021. She later expanded into Dallas and Austin with more than $200 million in listings featured on the series.
