Location in Belfast, but where? There is a bus stop, and it’s clearly on a tram route. And the motorcycles, Police, Army, RAF?
What can be determined is the year, from the posters. The Gillette poster is by Tom Eckersley, and together with the National Savings Week poster, dates from 1949.
The Ulster Operatic Company were noted at the time for their Gilbert & Sullivan presentations, with HMS Pinafore, & Trial by Jury being the two plays advertised at this point.
