Advertising Display – October 1930, cover by Pat Keely and printed by the Berte process
A recent addition tot he collection thanks to the eagle eyes of the other half – Advertising Display magazine is not often seen – this is the front cover of the October 1930 edition and has a cover by Pat Keely. Keely designed posters for the Southern Railway and London Transport. This eyecatching graphic was, I suspect, designed to show off the Jean Berte process of printing – best recalled for its use to produce the Batsford book covers of Brian Cook.
