FBI head calls China ‘the greatest long-term threat’ to the US and alleges Chinese plots to steal US data and forcibly repatriate its citizens

FBI Director Christopher Wray called China “the greatest long-term threat to our nation’s information and intellectual property, and to our financial vitality.” Wray said in mentions on Tuesday that China has “brazenly infringed well-settled standards and the rule of law” by was just trying to personnel its citizens to return home in order to silence review of the Chinese Communist Party. Wray said if Chinese nationals abroad refuse to return home, China has warned, obliged, and even arrested family members “for leverage.” “The Chinese government is engaged in a broad-spectrum, diverse expedition of steal and malign force, and it can execute that expedition with dictatorial economy, ” Wray said.
